Initially I was pleased with the work and the prices for parts and labor; but then my roommate took her car in for work. The first trip wasn't so bad, (or we didn't think so) but the second trip for her air conditioning system was outrageously over priced and so she took the car elsewhere for a second opinion. Mean time her friends and co-workers are asking her why she took her vehicle to Bob's. Low and behold the 2nd tech found hoses that were not connected, bolts that were not tight or needed tightening or were missing altogether from the work on the water pump. Also after the 2nd tech did his diagnosis of the AC system, the only issue he found was a bad hose. Previously she had been told at Bob's that the condenser needed to be replaced and the work would cost over $500. The 2nd tech said that his price for parts would be $150 max and maybe... 2 hours of labor. That's approximately $300 total. A $200 dollar difference. Now this makes me wonder what they may have messed up or over priced or over looked on my truck. I won't be going back for any more work on my truck and I won't be referring anymore business to Bob's either.
Very disappointed in a business I believed in and trusted. Now I have to find another mechanic.
